i hate this so much but this knowledge is too powerful to keep from you all.

last night @phaltu discovered that setting your font to comic sans in google docs improves writing speed and creativity by an insane amount. “no” i said and “die” but then i tried it and god. i wish it wasn’t this way. i wish it wasn’t true. i wish i could protect you all from this but it’s real.

something about this font is so disarming. something about this font lets you look past the shape of the words and into their soul. i’ve never written so much as i did last night, on my phone, at 2am, in comic sans.

if you have writer’s block. if you lack inspiration. if you need this. don’t be afraid to use it. sometimes the things we find most horrifying are also the things we need the most. trust me. let comic sans into your life.

  • I think of myself as a Slytherin, and I love this house to death, but I feel I'm not good enough or worthy of being in the house. I'm recovering from a depression, which has turned me into a giant procrastinator and I am too tired to do good in school etc. I don't feel like I strive for power or am ambitious enough, unless if it's in a situation or a thing I am really passionate about. I feel like I'm not living up to the Slytherin traits, and it makes me really sad. What do you think?

um, i think you sound like me????? like a lot???

Seriously love. You are Slytherin, and you deserve to be Slytherin, and it don’t matter if you’re too tired to live up to everybody else’s expectations. Be tired. Be happy. I don’t really strive for power either. Maybe some people will think that doesn’t make me a Slytherin, but, being a Slytherin, I really don’t care.

So be extraordinary. Be Slytherin. And remember I love you. :3

Slytherins and Gryffindors are both equally likely to sneak out and roam around at night—but Slytherins are less likely to be caught doing so.

Sid Vicious made the mistake one day of bursting into Queen’s control room and antagonizing their frontman. “Have you succeeded in bringing ballet to the masses, then?” he sneered. “Oh, yes, Simon Ferocious,” Mercury replied. “We’re trying our best, dear.”

Then, according to Queen biographer Daniel Nester, Freddie rose from his chair and began to playfully flick the safety pins displayed on the front of Sid’s leather jacket. “Tell me,” he asked, “did you arrange these pins just so?” When Sid stepped forward in an attempt to intimidate Freddie, the singer simply pushed him backwards and inquired, “What are you going to do about it?” Sid immediately backed down. • Hi! I read a quote (unfortunately I can't find the quote's source): "I wanted to be great, because i knew what it felt like to not be". It really struck me because as a Slytherin I tend to keep any negative emotions I have to myself or the few friends that I trust. But it's those feelings of unhappiness, anger, and sadness that have been some of the strongest driving forces in my life. Do you think it's the same for other Slytherins - our inner pain becomes outer strength?

I DON’T THINK CUTE EVEN COVERS IT THAT IS FLIPPING ADORABLE

His name is Pistachio, and he curls up next to my head every night and purrs as he falls asleep. He was a stray, and he definitely appreciates a forever home.

    I love this cat
